I may be incorrect in this assumption, but I think that most Yahoo! members wouldn’t have agreed to be marketed to if they had known that Yahoo! would be selling their email addresses to purveyors of ***** pumps, pornography, date-a-whore services, and loan scams. After all, that is mostly what I receive in my Bulk Mail file. Nor did any of us sign up with a service that seems to never actually read the Help questions, nor does it answer direct queries. Or one that in fact ignores the customer so completely. Recently I had a piece of email, reporting spam, returned to me as UNDELIVERABLE. It was addressed to the Yahoo! abuse address, as supplied countless time via the WHOIS listings. One used on countless times. And when I asked why this happened, I got a reponse that said someone had forged my headers and blah-blah-blah. In other words, NO ONE read the query. No one read the subsequent query either. This Answers section, is it not just us doing Yahoo’s job for them. Maybe better?
I never answer them. What I am talking about it the ones that turn out to have been sent by Yahoo! I never signed on for the recent spate of self-described “sexually explicit” promos. And I certainly never signed on for a Help department that won’t actually answer a single damn direct question.
